B.) Aliases
- For Departmental emails, these can be requested by the Supervisor or Team Leader so that we can create a separate name or alias for the particular staff.
- It is always recommended for your privacy not to give your name under any circumstances, unless you are required to do so or are from sales. nicknames can be given for your protection.
C.) Password Reset
- Password reset can be requested from IT via odoo helpdesk anytime.
D.) Adding Email Filters or Folders
1.)Click Settings
2.)Then Click See All Settings
3.) Click Filters and Blocked Addresses
4.) Click Create new Filter
5.) Set Details
a.)From Notice@acehotelandsuites.com
b.) You can either Search first to verify the email that will be filtered or create a filter to create the filter
6.) Can be at the “From” field or at the “has the words” field; ONLY ONE FIELD NEEDED
a.) Has the words “Notice@acehotelandsuites.com”
b.) Or from “Notice@acehotelandsuites.com”
7.) You can check the “skip the inbox” so that it will skip inbox and “Apply the label” for it to create a separate tag/folder for the email to go to if need to access. Please also choose a label or create a new label for the emails.
a.) You can Create a label for notice and change the color so that it will easily be identified in your inboxes.
8.) If there are existing mail that the filter applies to, please also check the ‘Also Apply filter to X matching conversations“ to apply the filter and label to existing mail.

In light of the current issue encountered with hacked fb accounts.
Please ensure that you have 2FA activated in google and odoo accounts.
Please also check for other access that you have to have 2FA enabled. You can request IT assistance if you are having difficulty finding it.
Here are the instructions for google accounts. :
Log in to myaccount.google.com
Security > Turn on 2 step verification.
Authenticator app> to be scanned by authenticator app on Company Phone (If applicable)
Make sure Google Authenticator app is installed via google play Google Authenticator
